1. Acceptance of Licence
By subscribing to, accessing, streaming, or otherwise using NREW music, you agree to be bound by this Commercial Music Licence.
If you do not agree to these terms, you must not access or use NREW music.
2. About NREW
NREW provides original background music designed for commercial environments including:
- Gyms and fitness facilities
- Personal training studios
- Cafés and coffee shops
- Hospitality venues
- Retail environments
- Salons and wellness businesses
- Creative studios
- Offices and commercial spaces
NREW music is supplied under a subscription-based commercial licence.
3. Licence Grant
Subject to an active subscription and compliance with this licence, NREW grants you a:
- Non-exclusive licence
- Non-transferable licence
- Non-sublicensable licence
- Revocable licence
to use NREW music within the scope of this agreement.
No ownership rights are transferred.
4. One Business Location Per Licence
Each NREW licence covers one business location, business entity, or brand.
Examples:
- One gym = one licence
- One fitness studio = one licence
- One café = one licence
- One salon = one licence
- One retail store = one licence
If you operate multiple business locations, a separate licence is required for each location unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Multi-site licences may be available upon request.
5. Permitted Use
An active licence permits you to:
- Play NREW music within your licensed business location.
- Use NREW music as background music within commercial environments.
- Use NREW music within customer-facing spaces.
- Use NREW music within staff areas connected to the licensed premises.
- Use NREW music as part of the customer experience of your licensed business.
Use is permitted only while your subscription remains active.
6. Prohibited Use
You may not:
- Share your account credentials.
- Allow third parties access to your subscription.
- Resell, sublicense, rent, lease, lend, or redistribute NREW music.
- Upload NREW music to Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, YouTube Music, or similar platforms.
- Register NREW music with YouTube Content ID.
- Register NREW music with copyright management systems.
- Claim ownership or authorship of NREW music.
- Present NREW music as your own work.
- Create competing music services, playlists, libraries, or subscription services using NREW content.
- Use one licence across multiple business locations.
- Use NREW music in unlawful, defamatory, misleading, hateful, extremist, or otherwise prohibited content.
7. Artificial Intelligence Restriction
You may not use NREW music, recordings, metadata, streams, files, or associated content to:
- Train artificial intelligence systems
- Train machine learning systems
- Build datasets
- Fine-tune AI models
- Develop generative AI systems
- Improve recommendation engines
without prior written permission from NREW.
8. Ownership & Intellectual Property
All music, recordings, streams, branding, artwork, metadata, and associated intellectual property remain the exclusive property of NREW.
You are purchasing a licence to use the music.
You are not purchasing ownership of the music.
All rights not expressly granted remain with NREW.
9. Subscription Requirement
This licence remains valid only while your subscription is active.
If your subscription expires, is cancelled, or is terminated:
- Access to NREW services may be removed.
- Access to member areas may be removed.
- Access to music streams may be removed.
- Commercial use rights granted by this licence will cease.
Continued commercial use requires an active licence.
10. Account Security
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining secure login credentials.
- Preventing unauthorised access.
- Ensuring compliance within your organisation.
NREW reserves the right to monitor usage patterns and investigate suspected misuse.
11. Suspension & Enforcement
NREW may suspend or terminate access immediately where it reasonably believes:
- Account sharing has occurred.
- Licence abuse has occurred.
- Multiple locations are using a single licence.
- Unauthorised redistribution has occurred.
- These licence terms have been breached.
NREW reserves all rights to protect its intellectual property.
12. Audit Rights
NREW may request reasonable evidence of licence compliance.
This may include:
- Business name
- Business address
- Website URL
- Number of business locations
- Subscription details
Failure to provide reasonable confirmation within 14 days may result in suspension of access pending review.
13. Service Availability
NREW aims to provide reliable access to all services.
However, NREW does not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Temporary interruptions may occur due to:
- Maintenance
- Updates
- Hosting providers
- Payment providers
- Technical issues
- Circumstances beyond our control
14. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
NREW’s total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by the subscriber during the previous 12 months.
NREW shall not be liable for:
- Indirect losses
- Consequential losses
- Loss of profits
- Loss of revenue
- Business interruption
- Third-party platform decisions
Nothing in this licence excludes liability where such exclusion would be unlawful.
15. Changes to this Licence
NREW may update this licence from time to time.
Updated versions will be published on this website.
Continued use of NREW services constitutes acceptance of any updated version.
16. Governing Law
This licence is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any dispute arising from this licence shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
