NREW Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 29 August 2026
This policy explains how cancellations, refunds, digital downloads, subscription payments, duplicate payments and technical problems are handled when you purchase music or subscribe to NREW.
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or replaces any statutory rights or remedies available to you under applicable UK consumer law.
1. NREW Monthly Subscription
NREW offers a monthly subscription which renews automatically each month until cancelled.
The current subscription price and the features included with the subscription are shown before you subscribe.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future renewal payments. Unless otherwise stated, your subscription will remain active until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Cancelling a subscription does not normally result in a refund of a subscription payment that has already been correctly charged, subject always to your statutory rights.
2. Subscription Downloads
Customers with an active NREW subscription can download music in accordance with the subscription terms, applicable fair-use provisions and the NREW Music Download Licence.
Music lawfully downloaded while your subscription is active may be kept for personal use in accordance with the licence that applies to the download.
Cancelling or allowing your subscription to expire does not transfer ownership, copyright or any other intellectual-property rights in NREW music to you.
If a subscription download is faulty, corrupted or cannot be accessed because of a technical problem with NREW, please contact us so that we can investigate and, where appropriate, restore access or provide a corrected file.
3. Individual Track Purchases
NREW tracks may also be purchased individually without a subscription. These downloads are digital content supplied electronically.
When you purchase an individual track, the digital file is made available using the delivery method shown during or after checkout. This may include access from the order confirmation page, an order email or your NREW customer account where that facility is available.
Please check the track information before completing your purchase. A refund will not normally be provided simply because you change your mind after digital content has been supplied where your statutory cancellation right has been validly brought to an end.
4. Your Right to Cancel Digital Content
UK consumer law generally provides a cancellation period for distance contracts. Different rules can apply where digital content is supplied immediately.
If you ask NREW to make digital music available before the end of any applicable cancellation period, NREW may obtain your express consent to immediate supply and your acknowledgement that your right to cancel will be lost once supply of the digital content begins.
Where the consent and acknowledgement required by law have been properly obtained and supply has begun, you will no longer have the statutory right to cancel that digital-content purchase simply because you have changed your mind.
If the consent or acknowledgement required by law has not been properly obtained, your statutory rights are unaffected.
5. Faulty or Incorrect Digital Content
Your statutory rights continue to apply if digital content is faulty, corrupted, not as described, not of satisfactory quality, not fit for a particular purpose made known to NREW, or otherwise does not conform to the contract.
If there is a genuine problem with NREW digital content, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible and tell us what has happened.
Depending on the circumstances and your statutory rights, an appropriate remedy may include restoring access to the correct download, supplying a replacement or corrected file, or providing a refund or price reduction where required.
6. Download or Delivery Problems
If payment has been completed but a download is not made available because of a technical problem with NREW’s website or delivery system, please contact NREW.
We will investigate and, where appropriate, restore download access, provide the relevant file again or provide another remedy appropriate to the circumstances.
A temporary technical problem does not remove any statutory rights you may have in relation to the digital content.
7. Duplicate or Incorrect Payments
If you believe you have been charged more than once for the same purchase or subscription period, charged an incorrect amount, or charged for an order that was not completed correctly, please contact NREW so that the payment can be investigated.
Where NREW verifies that an incorrect or duplicate payment has been taken, the appropriate correction or refund will be made.
8. Subscription Renewal Payments
Your NREW monthly subscription renews automatically using your selected payment method until you cancel it.
If you do not wish your subscription to continue, you should cancel it before the next renewal payment is processed.
A correctly processed renewal payment will not normally be refunded simply because you intended to cancel but did not do so before the renewal was processed. This does not affect any statutory rights you may have.
9. Refunds
Where you are legally entitled to a refund, NREW will provide the refund in accordance with applicable law.
Where a refund is not legally required, NREW may still consider a request where exceptional circumstances exist. Any discretionary refund or other resolution offered in one case does not create an entitlement to the same outcome in another case.
Approved refunds will normally be returned using the original payment method where reasonably possible.
10. NREW Radio and Free Listening
Listening to NREW Radio, tracks made available for free listening or other free listening facilities does not constitute a digital music purchase and therefore does not create a purchase refund entitlement.
11. Contact NREW
If you have a problem with a subscription, renewal, order, payment or digital download, please contact NREW through the website Contact page and include enough information for us to identify the relevant transaction and investigate the issue.
12. Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Refund & Cancellation Policy excludes, restricts or replaces any statutory rights or remedies available to you under applicable UK consumer law.
